The Taiwan based multinational company Asus is reportedly back in the game. After the release of the ROG Phone in June last year it is bringing yet another gaming-centric flagship smartphone in the market. It is proclaimed that the company will announce the upcoming model on 23rd July next month.
The gaming gadget is scheduled to be announced in Beijing, China. Additionally, the product will be featuring two models, with the base price being with the base model carrying a price tag of CNY 4,399 (approximately, Rs. 44,418).
As for advertisement and promotions, Asus will be showcasing the phone at the ChinaJoy 2019 expo in Shanghai which will start on 1st August. Around 4,00,000 eSports players will get a good glimpse of this splendid device.
Taking a step forward from the previous ROG Phone which sported a 90Hz display, the ROG Phone 2 has a 120Hz display. Speculations also suggest that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC and would comprise of a whopping 12GB RAM. Similarly, it is expected to have a cooling system and a glowing Asus logo like its previous model.
Notably, there is no official announcement regarding the specifications of the device but more information is expected to surface very soon.
