It does this by scanning a database of known cases of the Coronavirus infection. It also lets users whether the user’s residing location belongs to near the infected areas based on the available data. How to Use Aarogya Setu App on Landline and Feature Phone?
The IVRS service is available in the Aarogya Setu app in 11 regional languages. The users of a feature phone and landline need to give a missed call to 1921 to access the Aarogya Setu app. Upon calling this number, your call gets disconnected and would receive a callback asking for inputs related to the health. The questions posed to the users are similar to those of the self-assessment asked on the Aarogya Setu app. Based on the users’ responses, the app sends an SMS to the users indicating their health status. The inputs offered by the IVRS users will be made part of the Aarogya Setu app database. The gathered information will be used to ensure the user’s safety.
