Four months back, Samsung had launched the Galaxy M30 in India. It was made available for sale exclusively online as soon as it was released, like the other handsets in this series. The strategy adopted by Samsung for the M-series has been working perfectly. Hence, the company is now aiming at making $1 billion from just online sales in the country.
Recently, there have been talks about Samsung that the company may likely add another handset to this lineup. The company is currently working on the Galaxy M 30. The new smartphone will be slightly different from the existing handset and will not be a full-fledged successor.
Development of a new device: Galaxy M30
Samsung has the SM-M307F under development, while the Galaxy M30 has SM-M305F as its model number. Therefore, this model can only be represented as a different variant of that device. Also, Samsung is working on such variants for some of its handsets of Galaxy A Series. Moreover, Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A70 with model numbers SM-A507F and SM-A707F, respectively are under development.
Notably, Galaxy M30 will be different compared to the one that’s already out there as this handset will be basically a Galaxy M20 with some upgraded specifications.
Specifications of the Galaxy M30
The smartphone will come with Android 9.0 Pie with one UI 1.1 and an improved camera. It will be available with 64GB and 128GB of storage.
