Samsung has revealed successor to the Galaxy Wide mobile in South Korea. The latest Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 mobile has been tagged at the price of KRW 297,000 (roughly Rs. 17,000).
The Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 (SM-J727S) displays a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LCD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The mobile is powered by an octa-core 1.6GHz processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
The Galaxy Wide 2 boasts a 13- megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and has a selfie camera of 5-megapixels. The smartphone backs 3300mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It measures 151.5×76.4×8.6mm and weighs 170 grams.
The official South Korean website of Samsung has not listed the new Galaxy Wide 2 smartphone as of now. This handset has been launched in alliance with mobile carrier SK Telecom in South Korea. The device’s launch in South Korea is just known as of now and it’s pricing and release dates are still unknown in other markets.
