Oppo is coming out in the Indian mobile market with a lot of assertion and aggression. The company is trying to take over the offline market in the country by promoting its products through offline means. With the increasing popularity of the Chinese mobile maker, which offers the latest technology at a pocket friendly prize, it has the potential to overtake many other brands. Oppo seems to be doing a great job, with its promotional strategies, and attempting to take over the offline market.
One of the two products that are currently creating buzz in the market is Oppo F3 Plus, which is expected to be released this year in March, and Oppo F1 Plus which released in March last year.
Oppo F3 Plus, with an expected estimated to be Rs 28,990, launches this month, whereas Oppo F1 Plus will only cost you Rs 19,999. F3 Plus being the latest launch is a much more advanced Smartphone compared to Oppo F1 Plus, which is running a year old technology.
F3 Plus can be seen as an improvement to the latter, as it consists of everything which was offered by F1 Plus, in a better and more advanced format. F3 Plus is VoLTE enabled and can be used with Reliance Jio Network.
Oppo F1 Plus comes with AMOLED capacitive multi touch screen which offers 16 M colors in the display. It comes with a 5.5 inch screen, with corning gorilla glass 4 protections and Color OS 3.0. Oppo F3 Plus being an advanced version of the other device is said to have a 6 inch screen with corning gorilla glass 5 protections that will protect your phone.
The bigger screen size of the device definitely helps it to contribute to better gaming and video watching experience. However it might look too big on your hand and might be challenging to carry in your pocket. F3 Plus is also 13% more heavily than Oppo F1 Plus.
Oppo F3 Plus comes with a 16 MP rear camera with LED flash and it’s designed to have a dual camera of 16 MP and 8 MP, which guarantees to satisfy your selfie obsession. It also offers an HD resolution of 2160p X 1080p. The camera quality impressed everyone during its test runnings.
Oppo F1 Plus comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 16 MP front camera, but it does have a few mix reviews, including complaints about the camera getting too vibrant during the day light resulting in blurred pixels. Both the products were manufactured to target the selfie lovers.
Oppo F1 Plus, being a last year launch runs on a Android v5.1 Lollipop and consist of a Mediatek chip-set, which does deliver smooth working but doesn’t support the latest features provided by many applications. Oppo F3 Plus runs on a v6.0 Android Marshmallow which is backed by its chip-set of Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 and Octa core processor.
However, considering the fact that Android Nougat Smartphone is just about to hit the market, Oppo F1 Plus, doesn’t seem to stand a chance.
However F3 Plus is yet to be launched, so nothing can be confirmed regarding performance abilities.
Both the devices come with a 4 GB RAM and internal storage of 64 GB that is expandable up to 256 GB.
Oppo F3 Plus comes with a Li-Ion 3600 mAh battery that supports VOOC flash charging and a longer battery life compared to Oppo F1 Plus’s 2850 mAh Li-Po battery which however comes with VOOC charging of 75% in 30 minutes, but fails to last longer than a few hours.
It is unfair to compare Oppo F3 Plus with the last release phone from the brand; Oppo F1 Plus. F3 Plus hasn’t released yet, which makes it more prone to inherit the latest features and technologies.
It definitely has a better camera, user interface and will be a more rational buy, if compared with F1 Plus, which comes with Android v5.0.1. F3 Plus however is a more expensive choice, but it will offer you all the latest features available in the market. Guess, we will be sure about the phone’s creditability and performance only after its launch.
