The device is guesstimated to have a high tech security in the form of an iris scanner. A device with the code name Motorola XT1650 has been listed on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 835 as well as 4GB of RAM. The smartphone has earned a single core score of 1930 and a decent multicore of 6207.
Security features of this smartphone are definitely higher than other smartphones in the same range. Moto Z mobile phones have been really successful in the Indian market and company seeks to deliver more to the Indian market.
As per a technology report, Lenovo has patented this idea of using iris scanner on the second generation of Moto Z. It seems that the phone will use a front-facing fingerprint scanner that will also double as an iris scanner that means there will be no need for extra hardware on the front of the phone. Even Samsung has used this technology before in its Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone and might also continue in its Samsung Galaxy S8.
