Design and Configuration

The Phablet comes with a 7-inch IPS LED display with a pixel density of 170ppi. Under the screen, the device has a quad-core processor powered at a speed of 1.2GHz. Coupled with a processor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris has a RAM of 1.5GB which ensures a smooth and stable performance. The Tab is powered by Android v5.0 (Lollipop). and supports single SIM.

Camera and Battery

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris comes with a 5MP main camera inclusive of autofocus and digital zoom feature. It does not have a front camera. The Tab Iris gets its energy from a 3,600mAh Li-polymer battery.

Storage and Memory

The user can save files up to 8GB in the internal storage available in the device. One can also make use of a microSD card to expand the memory up to 200GB.

Connectivity

On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris has options such as single SIM, 3G, 2G, Voice calling, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS with A-GPS and microUSB 2.0.

Expected Release and Price

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris is expected to be released on February 07, 2018. This is not an official date. The device is supposed to come with a price tag of RS. 13,490 in India.
