We have been rumouring with the news of OnePlus 5 since months. But finally, OnePlus has confirmed the launch of its upcoming Flagship in Mumbai on 22nd June at 2 PM.
The phone is rumoured to be designed as same as some of the other flagship devices already available in the market. The OnePlus 5 is expected to have a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1440p by 2560p. It must be running on 2.35 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
According to reports, the base model must have 64GB of storage with 6GB of RAM and the higher model must have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The OnePlus will also have a dual sim phone, which will accept Nano-Sim.
Sources say, the OnePlus 5 will have a dual rear camera with a 23MP camera and a 16MP front camera.
There have been many leaked images of the OnePlus 5 on Twitter and other Social Media. Officially, the news of the launch of the device is confirmed by the CEO of OnePlus Pete on Twitter. The official e-commerce website that has been selling OnePlus devices have been also teasing with images of the upcoming flagship device on their website.
Customers who are interested to buy the device must get an invite, formally known as ‘The Invite Box’ from the official OnePlus Store for Rs.999/-. It is just not an invitation, it comes with a packed T-Shirt and an invite to the launch event in Mumbai. The Invite box has a ‘welcome pack’ which is worth nearly Rs. 10,000.
The ‘Welcome Pack’ includes a OnePlus Travel Bag worth Rs. 3990 and a pair of Sunglasses worth Rs. 6000.
The OnePlus 5 looks much promising to us and we expect the launch of the device with an affordable price after their launch of the ‘flagship killer’, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, which was an amazing device at a great price and got on the top of the charts within no time.
